Five ikebana artists will present a renka performance to the music of Mozart performed by Orchestra 21. Renka is a type of ikebana performance in which a group of artists collaborate in the creation of a harmonious work of art. A dynamic harmony emerges spontaneously in the work, although the artists have not previously planned the final product. Fee: To be confirmed. Bookings open in May 2021.

English is not allowed in this workshop. All instructions are given only in Japanese. It is like attending an ikebana class in Japan. Ideal for the students doing VEC Japanese or for those who intend to visit Japan soon. Our instructor is a native Japanese speaker with a degree in applied linguistics.
